Prayer for Peace

Eternal God, in whose perfect kingdom no sword is drawn but the sword of righteousness, no strength known but the strength of love: So mightily spread abroad your Spirit, that all peoples may be gathered under the banner of the Prince of Peace, as children of one Father; to whom be dominion and glory, now and for ever. Amen. - BCP, p. 815

Russia/Ukraine - On 24 February 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine in an escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War that started in 2014. The invasion became the largest attack on a European country since World War II.

Israel/Palestine - Both Palestinians and Israelis see the territory between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River as their own, and Christians, Jews and Muslims all hold parts of the land as sacred. Thousands of people have died due to the conflict between Israel and Palestine.
